Bloody 'ell!
It's all a bit manic at the mo! Have just
got over a minor fit trying to deal with copywrite and CD pressing
issues...... just one of those things that makes me illogically
incredibly angry for no apparent reason....... 'please Mr CD Pressing
company can I not just send you a CD and you make a thousand more and
send them back to me?..... in hindsight thats probably a little
naive but fits in nicely with my simple happy world inside my head (the
less said about that probably the better!).
Anyway, news......... I think the tour dates are pretty much
finalised now with a back to back run of 10 dates (not including The
Water Rats showcase at the end) and only one blank for which we're
still chasing a few promoters. The remaining dates should appear on web
and My Space shortly. We recorded new single 'Close' on
Saturday and we're all dead chuffed (sorry been hanging around with too
many northerners) with the outcome. As we speak this is finding it's
way onto The Picture Show DVD which is being compiled and sent to press
over the next day or two and (fingers crossed) will be back with us
ready to send out to press and the industry by Sat 3rd May.... the next
couple of weeks will therefore be spent finishing off
researching contacts for the mail-out!
